Potato, a cute cat with missing ears, lived a difficult existence on the streets until being saved two years ago by Treasure Life, Be Kind To Animals Association, a small animal sanctuary in China. He had a serious ceruminous adenoma in his ear canals when rescuers discovered him.
He was treated by vets to remove the adenoma, but doctors advised removing the canals and ears to stop the condition from returning.
Potato has made an excellent recovery after his operation, and he has a loving family and a fun-loving sibling.
Every day is a new adventure for this cat without ears, and he has chosen to share it with his new family.
His adoptive parents created an Instagram account for him and there they tell the adventures of this curious cat. They recently wrote a post about his beginnings and said:
Potato was a stray cat, so no one knows when he was born or how old he is.
His family believes that this feline may be around 6 years old, living on the street for so long it has been difficult to find an exact age and they decided to celebrate as his birthday the date he was adopted, April 25, 2019 So Potato can celebrate his special day with balloons and cake.
Horlick, Potato’s brother, and he are having a great time together and playing.
His family affirms that Potato is a friendly cat that enjoys playing games and can still hear clearly.
This sweet cat’s life had a rocky start, but for Potato, losing his ears marked the beginning of a new life. He now has a forever family.
